Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Underarms.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular appointments can extend intervals as hair becomes finer. Factors like hormones and skincare routines influence exact timing.

Some sensitivity is normal, especially for first-time clients. Our technicians minimize discomfort with expert technique, pre-wax soothing, and quick, efficient pulls. Applying cooling gel and post-care calms skin; pain reduces with repeated sessions.

Ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long for effective removal; exfoliate gently 48 hours before and avoid deodorant, heavy creams, or sun exposure on the day of service to reduce irritation.

Avoid hot showers, heavy exercise, and scented products for 24 hours. Use recommended soothing lotions or aloe, exfoliate gently after 48-72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, and wear loose clothing immediately post-treatment.

If skin is recently shaved or irritated, wait until it has healed and hair is at proper length. For sensitive skin, we offer patch tests and gentler formulas; consult your technician to determine suitability.

Most clients book every three to six weeks as hair regrows. With consistent waxing, intervals may lengthen as hair thins. Your technician can recommend a personalized schedule based on growth patterns and comfort.
