Most clients enjoy three to six weeks of smoothness after Back waxing or threading, depending on individual hair growth and hormones. Regular treatments typically extend time between appointments as regrowth becomes finer and sparser, improving overall results.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy lotions, oils, or recent sun exposure. Hair should be about 1/4 inch long for effective removal. Avoid exfoliating within 24 hours prior and inform your technician about medications or skin conditions.

Sensitivity varies by person; Back waxing or threading can cause brief discomfort during hair removal. Our technicians use efficient techniques and calming products, and topical numbing is available on request. Many clients report reduced sensitivity with regular sessions.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use gentle moisturizers or recommended soothing gels, skip tight clothing on the back, and exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours to help prevent ingrown hairs.

We don’t recommend shaving between Back waxing appointments because it alters regrowth and diminishes waxing effectiveness. If necessary, trim only. For best results, let hair reach about 1/4 inch before your next scheduled waxing.

You may not be a candidate if you have sunburn, open wounds, active skin infections, recent chemical peels, or are taking medications like isotretinoin. Certain skin conditions require caution—consult our staff or your physician before booking.
