Get answers to common questions about Microdermabrasion.

During your visit we begin with a consultation, then cleanse and perform gentle microdermabrasion to remove dead cells. We finish with calming serums, hydrating mask and SPF. The full treatment takes about 60 minutes and is customized to your skin.

Yes. Microdermabrasion is often safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin when intensity is tailored. Your esthetician will assess concerns, avoid active breakouts, offer gentler settings, and recommend a patch test or alternative care for inflamed or compromised skin.

Many clients see immediate brightness and softer texture after one visit, but lasting improvement requires a series. We typically recommend treatments every three to six weeks, with ongoing maintenance determined by skin type, goals and sun protection habits.

Downtime is minimal for most people — you may experience light redness or mild flaking that usually subsides within 24 to 72 hours. Avoid active exfoliants and sun exposure after treatment; follow your esthetician's post-care instructions for optimal healing.

Microdermabrasion effectively improves fine lines, superficial sun damage, enlarged pores and uneven texture by resurfacing the skin. Deeper wrinkles or pigmentation may need combined therapies such as peels or lasers; we’ll recommend the best plan during your consultation.

Avoid retinoids, waxing, chemical peels and strong exfoliants for about five to seven days before your appointment. Come with clean skin, disclose medications and skin history, and follow any pre-care guidance provided when you book.
