Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Curl/Flat Iron.

Most Curl/Flat Iron appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes. If combined with a cut, color, or treatment the total time will increase. Your stylist will assess your needs and confirm timing at check-in so your appointment stays on schedule.

Any thermal styling carries risk, but our stylists minimize damage using adjustable heat settings, professional tools, and heat-protectant products. We assess hair condition first and recommend treatments or lower temperatures when needed to preserve integrity while delivering your desired curl or straight finish.

We evaluate colored or chemically treated hair before styling. Depending on condition and recent processing, we may proceed with careful technique, recommend a conditioning or waiting period, or suggest alternative styling to prevent breakage and protect color vibrancy.

Longevity varies by hair type, products, and environment; curls often last one to three days, while straight styles can last through one to several days. Use lightweight styling products, avoid humidity, and sleep with a silk pillowcase or wrap to extend the look.

We recommend arriving with clean hair free of heavy oils or buildup. Slightly damp hair is acceptable, but completely wet hair may extend styling time. If your hair has product build-up, your stylist may shampoo first before performing the Curl/Flat Iron service.

Pricing depends on hair length, thickness, stylist level, and whether you add a cut, color, or treatment. Because each Curl/Flat Iron is customized, we confirm the exact price during consultation so you receive a clear, tailored quote before service begins.
